Our hitch systems are available direct from the
manufacturer, and are now available for purchase from REMOTEC as a standard
option.
We are currently producing systems for the following
robots:
- Remotec© F6A
- Remotec© HD-1
- Remotec© Mark V A1
- Remotec© Wolverine
We are currently manufacturing draw bars in several
configurations. Connection capabilities include ring eyes,
clevis, breakaway hitch adapter and standard
ball hitch bars. Our hitch systems
are based on standard Class II hitch specifications and will accept any Class II
draw bar. Custom draws can be fabricated to suit your specific needs
Specific towing capacity is affected by many variables.
Robot size, terrain surface, terrain grade and wheel/track configuration will
all affect the ability of your robot to tow heavy objects/loads. Our Mark V
hitch has successfully pulled a fully loaded Ford F350 Response vehicle on level
blacktop. Check out the video footage in the Gallery.
All of our currently available hitch systems mount to
existing connection points on your robot. No drilling, tapping or welding of any
kind is required. Installation of our hitch systems generally take on a few
minutes, and is accomplished with simple hand tools.
G-Man stands behind our products with a 100% replacement
guarantee. If any G-Man product exhibits problems due to faulty workmanship, we
will replace it for life. Simply return the defective item for replacement, no
questions asked.
